HISTORY
We started in 2009 with two refugees from Myanmar: La Ring Tang Bau and Awng Mai Nhkum, along with two other families. We began meeting in a "Door by door" (home cell) format, meeting alternately at each other's homes. After that, we searched for a local church where we would feel at home, and after many attempts, we found Wythe Presbyterian Church with Rev. Suzy.
In 2010, more refugee families from Myanmar came, including Pastor Ro Ding, who led the church for almost a year. We started meeting at Wythe Presbyterian Church after the English service.
After that, Pastor Naw Seng led the church for over 2 years. Then Pastor Gana Fish led the church for about a year. Mr. Zaw Khun Aung was the pastor for about 3 years.
Awng Mai Nhkum, who earned his theology degree, is now the current pastor of MCFC (shown here at his installation service), along with Mr. Ahpou Yeungnum.
